Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a Digital Business Product Manager in the field of Air, Sea, Road, Rail developing and pro-actively driving digital Products such as eQuote, eBook, and eTrack. In this role you will closely collaborate with relevant products and business functions to create and deliver a cross-product solution. In particular he/she develops, integrates, implements and thereafter continuously improves relevant digital Products by supporting the usage, acceptance and growth of same.
The Digital Business Product Manager is also responsible to provide relevant business content to the Digital Program Lead to support the planning, management, reporting and coordination of the digital transformation roadmap. Together we deliver digital change in line with approved Digital Strategy.

As Team-Member of the Digital Office, you will be acting as an ambassador and change agent for digital transformation.

Responsibilities

· Defines & aligns the expected business outcome of cross-product solutions such as eQuote, eBook, eTrack with all relevant products & stakeholders
· Leads the business requirement definition and functional design of eQuote, eBook, eTrack (and others) reflecting customer requirements
· Assures requirements are captured, translated and developed as part of the project to deliver expected benefits (i.e. automation and efficiency gains, incremental revenue etc.)
· Cooperates and coordinates continuously within the relevant business or supporting function (e.g. Functional Heads, Corporate/Regional Product Management, Corporate Operations Management Group as well as relevant Regional/Country stakeholders etc.) in regards to desired / demanded digital features and functionalities
· Monitors and kicks-off activities to achieve industry leading customer experience [
· Supports development of sales & operational training material and usage guidelines required for roll-out
· Tracks the progress of deployment preparation and organizational readiness escalating material shortfalls where required to safeguard delivery of successful implementation and business value of developed digital business solutions
· Supports and coordinates global implementation and business roll-out
· Works with the Digital Business Lead to drive the implementation and understanding of digital business solutions within the organization or respective business functions.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

Requirements & Experience

· Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Administration/Logistics/Economics; freight forwarding apprenticeship (or working equivalent) is an advantage
· 5-10 years experience in an operational related role in the freight forwarding industry
· 3-5 years experience in working with system solutions for forwarding and logistics service is an advantage
· First experience in designing and delivering digital products and services using agile methodology (SCRUM, SAFe) would be a strong asset
· Ability to manage priorities in (digital) product development and process optimization
· Preferably experience in transport management software (TMS) such as Cargowise
· Preferably knowledge about internal cargo-partner network, products and services
