Job description, responsibilities and duties

Do you have experience in sales, marketing and operations in the freight forwarding business? Are you a Salesforce expert, strategic thinker and well versed in analyzing business processes? Is bringing sales, marketing and operations together your personal passion?

Should this be the case, seize this unique opportunity to make a difference in the cargo-partner world and play a decisive role in doubling our revenue. You will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), the Chief Digital Officer (CDO), the Sales Organization, Product Management, IT and Marketing to streamline processes and procedures, enable sales growth and altogether revolutionize the way we collaborate across teams. In this challenging and exciting role, you will define and drive strategically important initiatives to increase sales efficiency and boost our revenue.

You will also be responsible for supporting the planning, management, reporting and coordination of digital transformation initiatives in sales & marketing to deliver digital change in line with the approved Digital Strategy. You will closely collaborate with the Digital Office to understand and execute on overall vision and roadmap of planned digital business solutions.

Personality requirements and skills

• Translation of corporate strategic goals to functional and operational sales & marketing initiatives
• Automation and digitalization of sales & marketing operations
• Standardization and optimization of processes and tactics facilitating more effective execution of commercial processes and procedures
• Active definition and execution of digital transformation initiatives in line with the Digital Strategy
• Active support of CRM roll-out & continuous improvement as a business owner (preferable experience with Salesforce)
• Facilitation of operational alignment between Sales, Product Management & Marketing
• Representation of business towards IT teams (process definition, requirement refinements, UAT & training coordination)
• Change management
