Job description, responsibilities and duties

Help us tune performance and ensure the high availability of the infrastructure. Join us and be responsible for the management and operations of our globally distributed IT data centers and the related Linux server environment.

What will you cover?

  • Administration of virtual and native server environments
  • Continuous enhancement of our centralized server infrastructure
  • Installation, administration and configuration of Linux servers in an enterprise environment (Red Hat based)
  • Planning, operations and optimization of central IT infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, Proxy, Load Balancer, etc.)
  • Analysis and troubleshooting of the frontend & backend servers
  • Support Java based application hosted on Linux servers
  • Deployment automation with Terraform
  • Project support in the Linux area

The monthly salary starts from 2.500 € gross. The final compensation may go above, depending on your professional qualifications and experience. 

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Strong experience in Linux Server system administration (Red Hat based)
  • Good knowledge in virtualized environments (VMware vSphere)
  • Proficient with network tools such as iptables, keepalived, HAproxy, Squid…
  • Good knowledge in NGINX & Tomcat (load-balancing, web services, reverse proxy’s)
  • Monitoring (Nagios based) and Metrics analysis (Kibana, Grafana) know-how
  • Ability to build and monitor services on production servers
  • Familiarity with network and storage infrastructure (Palo Alto firewall, IronPort systems, NetApp storage…)
  • Atlassian platform knowledge (Jira, Service Desk, Confluence)
  • Fluent in English
