Job description, responsibilities and duties

Job specification

  • identifying and understanding the business needs for translation into the target solution (SAP FI; REM-FX)
  • ensure proper translation of business needs through proper requirement analysis and solution architecture (workshops, interviews, functional specification / UML, business process description)
  • customization of System in the area of SAP FI (AA, AP, AR, GL)
  • customizing of System in the area of SAP REM-FX
  • provide SAP technical and solution guidance to project teams in support of solution design and development
  • consultancy of business lines (in AT and CE) regarding the SAP solution
  • develop solution architectures and roadmaps in conjunction with business process partners and strategy teams
  • support to keep the group wide SAP system on the standard as much as possible and provide consultancy services to business and ONE IT people


  • 3-5 years of experience in SAP FI (CO), REM-FX
  • good SAP product knowledge additionally (MM, SRM, SAP Solution Manager,etc.)
  • at least 5 years experience with projects involving different SAP modules in a large organization and demonstrated knowledge of the challenges faced by different teams in coming up with an integrated enterprise wide solution
  • excellent communication skills; ability to present ideas in non-technical language
  • self motivated and -directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • analytical thinking
  • fluent knowledge of English and German langugae
