Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Quality Assurance and Testing Specialist is responsible for:
- Designing, Developing and executing quality assurance and control processes
- Test strategies, test plans and test cases that verify software conformance to defined acceptance criteria and feature design documents, as well as application standards.
- Testing will be both manual and automated.
- On top of functional, integration, Regression and Performance testing, you will be responsible for quality assurance of non-functional areas such as performance, security and installation/upgrade.
- The QA should be familiar with Software Quality Assurance methodologies and be able to clearly communicate concepts to other team members.
- The QA will be expected to spend a portion of their time working with internal and external development teams as well as various business departments.
The person is also responsible for providing training to customers, suppliers, and users, making sure to keep up to date with all required documentation.
