Junior Network Support Engineer

Your daily responsibilities:

- operating and maintaining network components in a complex multi-vendor environment
- analysing network issues, performing configuration changes on network devices and network applications
- implementation of security policies to control customer network traffic in complex security environments (Security products are mainly Cisco, Juniper, CheckPoint)
- implement corrective actions (including emergency changes) to network faults
- test and apply firmware/OS patches
- conduct reviews based on the security guidelines contracted by customers
implementation of various projects in the customer’s network environment
- support for the architectural reviews and proposals of network environments improvement
- be an escalation point of contact for your colleagues on different kind of levels

What we need from you:

- ideally work experience in a field of Network support (it can be less)
- knowledge of Switch and Router Configuration
- enhanced knowledge of IP services (DNS, DHCP)
- advanced knowledge of Cisco IOS or Checkpoint FW
- minimum CCNA certification would be nice
- Fluent English is necessary
