Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Coordinates and leads the Authorization process for projects or vehicle platforms during all project phases until end of warranty (starting from bid phase to project closure).
Manages authorization activities and requirements and provides deliverables to achieve Authorization for Placing into Service (APIS).
Acts as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to external stakeholders.
Represents projects to authorities.
Provides project specific requirements and acts as link to Requirements Management.
Takes responsibility for budget and schedule of Authorization Projects
As member of project core team addresses all required support for contribution to other team members
As member of product core team develops the authorization strategy as input to product roadmaps
Leads the authorization country team in multiple country projects

Personality requirements and skills
University degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering (FH/ TU/ technical college or university), or professional technical training and work experience in the field of equipment approvals
Minimum 5 years of professional experience planning and technically executing plant or machinery engineering projects
Focused, proactive mind-set and working method
Must be a team player and capable of working independently
Good presentation skills
Flexibility and ability to handle pressure
Excellent knowledge of English and German, both written and oral
Willingness to travel
