Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Disposition documentation to resolve fit, form or functional issues on Rail components
- Support to Production, Design Engineering, Procurement & Quality in coordinating resolutions to issues
- Review & trouble shooting of Rail Systems in conjunction with Design Engineering as required
- Review & disposition of Rail Wiring & Electrical issues in conjunction with Design Engineering as required
- Corrective Action requests involving Engineering as required
- Obtain & Interface with Design Engineering experts on appropriate issue resolution
- Provide status, updates & keep current on information regarding manufacturing changes & problems
- Support to Production, Design Engineering, Procurement & Quality in coordinating resolutions to issues

Personality requirements and skills
- You have formal education to degree level in mechanical engineering or related field
- You have minimum of 3 years’ experience in Rail or Aerospace
- You have good knowledge of rail/aircraft structure & system installation technical requirements, rail/aircraft materials and hardware, standards and specifications, and Electrical & Systems experience would be considered an asset
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high sense of commitment, and a willingness to accept responsibilities while acting independently in a high-pressure partner/supplier team environment
- You have previous CATIA, Design experience including support to production would be considered an asset
- You have minimum of 3 years’ experience in Rail or Aerospace
