Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Travel & Expense Consultant to help us in our overall Travel Management efforts. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of Travel Team plans to reach our targets and Concur Travel implementations.

Location is flexible in one of our offices in Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania or Czech Republic.

The Danfoss Travel Management team is part of Global Services. We ensure that our travel and expense tools are continuously improved, so that they are highly effective, easy-to-work-with and compliant with legal and corporate requirements.

We will implement the Danfoss travel & expense solutions to new sites, we will ensure consistent high quality in all our processes through working closely with stakeholders and local functions.

The ideal candidate combines strong travel knowledge with interest for systems and customer service. Further, the candidate should have solid project management and communication skills in order to perform in a global environment, to drive change, roll-out global projects, align expectations with stakeholders and work as a valued team member in a high-performing global team. Self-drive and passion for performance are key to this role.

Areas of Responsibilities and Key Tasks
  • Drive continuous improvement of travel programs
  • Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures
  • Configure Concur Travel module during implementations (after training internally or externally)
  • Answer travel administrator and end users’ inquiries
  • Train travel administrators and end users during and after implementations
  • Holistic understanding of our travel processes incl. all relevant systems: Concur, BCD, credit/lodge card booking flow, and more
  • Documentation / Communication (news to the global organisation, success stories, update of training material etc)
Background and skills
  • Master/Bachelor in Travel/ Tourism or Administration/International Business with significant relevant knowledge: Travel background with interest in systems
  • 3-5 years of experience relevant experience in travel or hospitality industry
  • Customer-oriented approach
  • Well-organized and reliable
  • An analytical mind with strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication (oral and written)
  • Ideally some experience in travel and tourism
  • Willingness to work with systems (Concur, reporting tools, etc)
  • Flexibility and strive to learn and achieve
