Job description, responsibilities and duties
Dell is recruiting for the permanent position of European Commercial Merchandising Senior Advisor. Based in Bratislava (Slovakia), the candidate will manage Commercial merchandising for on and offline for the European market for both direct and indirect sales channels. Working as part of the Central Client Solutions team with strong links into the sales and online teams the right candidate will thrive in the fast-moving, insight-based and customer focussed environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage product portfolio and mix between products and within product line-up to ensure revenue and margin are achieving right mix to achieve financial and share targets
• Supply and Demand: Work with DT, NB and Tablet Commercial Regional Merchandisers to ensure necessary actions are taken to manage forecasts and stock levels.
• Product Launch: Work with DT, NB and Tablet Commercial PLMs to ensure products are launched successfully across all channels and in line with financial plans
• Budget maximization: Work with key stakeholders to ensure cost and funding opportunities are maximized.
• Channel merchandising – work with Channel salesand merchandising team to ensure the right products are promoted with right messages at the right price.
Drive & implement Strategy
• Drive EMEA Client Solutions strategy: Work with EMEA stakeholders and provide inputs to influence EMEA product strategy and product to ensure alignment to regional demands
• EMEA Pricing strategy: Implement pricing and promotional strategy across commercial
• Channel strategy: Ensure alignment of product, pricing, promotional strategy between Direct and Indirect channels
• Marketing, Competitive insights: Leverage customer, competitive, market and BI insights to optimize our marketing and merchandising.
• Innovative programs: Lead Innovation and programs to drive Dell competitiveness for both direct and indirect channels.
Strengthen brand through merchandising
• Place Customer First - all our communications, our metrics, our priorities should start with the customer.
• Innovation: Lead on innovative programs which hero product, promotions and support brand strategy
Sales engagement
• Engage with Direct and Indirect Sales teams on daily/weekly basis in business reviews
• Support sales across commercial direct/indirect to deal with business opportunities
Leadership
• Support a high-performance, collaborative and inclusive workplace
• Drive passion and commitment around our Brand, Product & Solutions
• Be a role model for teamwork & organizational effectiveness across Client solutions team.
