Committed to excellence, we are currently looking for a high-quality individual to join our team as General Ledger Accountant.

Purpose of the role:
1. Reconciling of all vendor accounts, customer accounts and general ledger accounts, timely and accurately, with consistent, measurable compliance with the corporate policies governing General Ledger Accounting.
2. Creation and maintenance of fixed assets, processing of depreciation runs.
3. Processing of exchange rate entries, loan interest entries and royalty entries, posting of manual journal entries, managing month-end close activities.
4. Continuously focus on process improvements, growth in efficiency, and partner with other team members to expedite projects driven by these goals.

Responsibilities:
- Reconciliation of vendor accounts, customer accounts and general ledger accounts in accordance with policies and procedures as assigned by specific role definition
- Bank account reconciliation in accordance with policies and procedures as assigned by specific role definition
- Inventory and sales reconciliation
- Clean-up of accounts
- Creation and maintenance of fixed assets, processing of depreciation runs
- Preparation and posting of manual journal entries
- Preparation and posting of exchange rate entries, loan interest entries and royalty entries
- Analysis of month-end close and year-end close reports
- Managing booking period closure
- Cross-training with personnel in other functional areas, as required.
- Other special projects as assigned.
