Job description, responsibilities and duties

General Description

Develops new and maintain existing source code of based applications in programming language (ASP.Net, JAVA, C#) based on requirements of internal or external customers. These applications support usually automation of business processes.
Works independently or in project team on developing and building application for customer usage
Does not necessarily require senior developer’s support , can handle all phases of software development lifecycle by himself, especially for small or midsize applications. For junior developers serves as basic mentor.

Accountabilities

Analyse with the help of mentor the demand from the customer for SAP application customization/development to propose an appropriate solution and realization
Consult with module consultant and solution designer and propose the implementation design of the new components for SAP applications
Develop new components for the customer’s application and/or completely new applications to satisfy customer’s demand
Debug programming code to find issues/errors on the application
Change and repair the code to restore the original functionality of application
Document changes on the system and design of new components to ensure their readability for future reference
Test newly added functionalities to avoid errors on productive system
Works on assigned, partial tasks from a delegated senior mentor

Wage (gross)

Salary minimum is 1770€ brutto + variable part + other financial benefits. The final basic wage component can be adjusted accordingly to individual skills and experience of selected candidate.

Education

University degree (minimum Bachelor), specialization in programming language (e.g. Java2EE, Asp.Net, C#, MS SharePoint 2007, 2010, 2013, PL SQL)

Experience

7+ years of experience within the field of application programming in object oriented programming languages incl. middleware, advanced knowledge of operating systems, database operations (e.g.MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle incl. connections to DB, backup and restore procedures, SQL client ), HW infrastructure interfaces, system analysis

Advanced knowledge of software development methodology (e.g. Agile, Waterfall), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, HTTP, SP, Servlets, javaScript, JQuery, AJAX, versioning tools ( like SVN, TFS), advanced in build tools like Ant Maven, WSP Builder, advanced in MS Visual studio or Eclipse development environment or SharePoint designer, bug tracking tool (e.g. Jira, Mantis, RedMine), LDAP protocol, CAML basic, experienced in UML , in configuration and administration of application servers like Apache, IIS.

Advantage is certificate e.g.: SCJP, SCWCD in Java, ASP. Net 4.0, MOSS certificates, trainings for Java Hibernate, Spring framework
