Job description, responsibilities and duties

Purpose
Maintain the components and functionalities for SAP applications to fulfill customers demand. Customize SAP applications to find and fix issues and recover the original functionality.

Accountabilities
• The Consultant facilitates the implementation and support of SAP modules to enhance the clients business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP SD
• Design, customize, configure and testing of SD
• Analyze the current business and scenarios of the client and recommend/develop solutions to meet the clients need
• Carry out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved procedure
• Develop and evaluate plans and criteria to be carried out by others; provides direction and leadership
• Provide detailed knowledge of industry best practices.
• Acts as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems and map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational standards
• Analyze the demand from the customer for SAP application customization to propose an appropriate solution and realization
• Consult with ABAP developer or solution designer and propose the implementation design of the new components for SAP applications
• Find and fix issues/errors on the application
• Document changes on the system and design of new components to ensure their readability for future reference
• Test newly added functionalities to avoid errors on productive system

Other criteria or requirements
• Minimum of 3 years designing and configuring SD module
• Experience with full lifecycle SD implementation
• Automotive functionality knowledge is beneficial (JIT, forecast, call offs, ASN)
• Good orientation in SD related EDI: IDOC messages, structures and status handling is expected
• Understanding of printing (output determination, conditions, procedures, forms) in SD
• Knowledge in pricing config and condition setup
• Basic ABAP knowledge is nice to have (but not a must)
• Concept orientation in SD user exits and custom extensions
• Support requirements in Czech / Slovak and English (German nice to have, but not a must)
• Experience in a Professional Services or Distribution company is an asset
• Agile environment
• Team player, sharing and documenting the knowledge among team members
• Self-driven in analysis, solution definition and implementation process
• Understanding of business environment and IT, processes, organization, implications of changes
