Job description, responsibilities and duties

Design new solution (standard and non-standard) to fulfill customer requirements.
Execute testing and analyzes to identify flaws of the configuration.
Create migration concepts and plans describing all necessary steps to deliver successful migration of new solution.
Execute and support migrations/implementation of designed solution to deliver new functionality to the customer.
Test, validate and document new releases in order to identify flaws and provide migration plan from old to new version of the release.

Key accountabilities:

• Analyze delivered documentation in order to identify actual state of the infrastructure.
• Design new solution (standard and non-standard) to fulfill customer requirements.
• Create documentation to define necessary HW and its physical installation.
• Create network plan which describe physical and logical connection of the IT infrastructure.
• Create test-cases for new solution to enable quality testing of this solution.
• Execute testing and analyzes to identify flaws of the configuration.
• Create migration concepts and plans describing all necessary steps to deliver successful migration of new solution.
• Test, validate and document new releases in order to identify flaws and provide migration plan from old to new version of the release.
• Investigate the root cause of complex incidents and then initiate actions to improve or correct the situation.
• Provide technical consultation in order to support creation or extension of customer solution.
• Execute and support migrations/implementation of designed solution to deliver new functionality to the customer.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation for complex networks.

Your tasks:

• Support for building Genesys Multicloud CX Contact Center solutions
• Development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines
• Analysis of customer requirements
• Analysis, optimization and expansion of existing container platforms
• Close cooperation with operations teams
• Technical support of presales requests
• Familiarization with new technologies (Redis, Kafka, etc.)
• Technical support for product development activities

Personality requirements and skills

• In addition to a university degree with a technical focus or comparable knowledge acquired in practice and qualifications, you have at least 5 years of professional experience in the provision of engineering services in the devops area.
• You have many years of experience in the independent and responsible development of complex technical designs (HLD) and technical concepts (LLD) as well as hands-on implementations.
• You have experience in the design and configuration of Kubernetes-based environments. (e.g. OpenShift)
• You have good knowledge and experience in the area of building and optimizing CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience with network technologies such as SIP and WebRTC is an advantage.
• Your personal strengths include a confident, assertive, engaging demeanor, as well as integration and communication skills with a high degree of willingness to work in a team on national and international projects.
