Security Analyst (All levels)

At DevologyX, we are seeking a Security Analyst (All levels) for our client in the banking sector.

What you will do:

• Manage day-to-day operations, including responding to alerts, alert triage, and escalation from SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, email & web security, application, and network security devices.
• React to user reports via the Security Hotline and/or Mailbox.
• Monitor, triage, and respond to alerts from information security tools, escalating issues as necessary.
• Analyse data sources such as SIEM logs, network traffic, and endpoint data to identify anomalies and indicators of compromise.

• Educational background in IT security or related fields.
• Motivated to learn new technologies and thrive in an agile-oriented environment with a flat hierarchy and open culture.
• Self-confident, highly motivated, and able to work independently with a customer-oriented approach.
• Understanding of modern digital services, secure IT architecture, and their implications for cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) systems, authentication and authorisation mechanisms, and data encryption.
• Knowledge of the current threat landscape, offensive tooling, OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK® techniques, Cyber Kill Chain, Unified Kill Chain, and Pyramid of Pain.
• One or more recognised certifications are considered an advantage: Security+, GCIH, CEH, CISSP, BTL1.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus.
