Job description, responsibilities and duties

Our client operates more than 130 locations (production and sales sites) around the world.
Its internal audit department is located nearby Linz, Austria.

Company’s Head of Internal Audit & Risk Management assigned the task of organizing and establishing an internal audit department, so he is now looking for an Auditor to expand the department.

Company has a lot of entities in the Czech Republic, therefore it was decided to look after an Auditor here. Auditor would be located at home – home base / home office, get a local contract employed
in one of company’s entities in the Czech Republic and will report directly to the Head of Internal Audit & Risk Management. Audits will be performed 1 site (small entities 100 employees; with the Head of Internal Audit & Risk Management
or with external auditors – for example in Asia).

Job description:

• Full responsibility for performing audits throughout all companies and processes within group.

• Review existing practices and develop ideas and action plans for continuous improvement.

• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance of the companies.

• Proactive support of our management by monitoring and improving our internal control system.

• Enhance the internal control framework in order to reduce risks, to drive change and operational excellence.

• Examine reliability and integrity of data on a regular basis.

• Further development of the risk management system.

• Contribute to challenging international projects and close collaboration with your colleagues.

Requirements:

• University degree in Economics with focus on Finance, Accounting or similar, but not limited.

• Minimum 3+ years of Audit experience, especially internal or external auditing, preferably in a company with international operations in the field of production industry or trade.

• Strong communicator (at all levels) with analytical skills and understanding for business needs.

• Excellent command skills in English and German are mandatory.

• Very good IT skills, experience with SAP advantageous and experience with a data analytics software (e.g. IDEA, ACL, etc.) is beneficial.

• Willingness to travel (the most of company’s production/operation sites are in Europe (Czech Republic, Poland, Serbia, Turkey ...), as well as its distribution offices, so the mainly work throughout the year would be in Europe – is expecting 50-60% traveling (normally 1 Audit / month, depends on the size of the auditing entity)).

• Willingness to work from home.
