IT Infrastructure Analyst – Desktop & Telecom Support Specialist


The role of the IT Infrastructure Analyst is to provide desktop and telecom support at multiple locations. The Infrastructure Analyst will oversee the centralized support for IT applications and systems to ensure timely, reliable, cost effective service to employees and customers. The analyst assists in daily activities relating to Data Networks – especially LAN, PCs, Servers, Telephony, and related systems, possessing a detailed technical understanding of existing systems. Responsibilities also include performing testing and evaluation of systems as part of a team. Assisting with analysis of system related issues, creating system documentation and best practices in concert with other team members also fall within the analyst's scope of responsibilities. The incumbent may travel to other sites for absence coverage, project assistance, and to perform site audits as a member of EMEA SIS (Site Infrastructure Support) organization.

Responsibilities:
• Provide 1st and/or 2nd level PC support for multiple locations as applicable for infrastructure hardware and software in order to provide the customer with a workaround or a fix.
• Participate on projects and leads initiatives as directed by SIS (Site Infrastructure Support) organization.
• Act as the main point of contact for desk-side support at multiple sites.
• Coordinate, schedule, test, implement and document application upgrades or patches in order to remain on current levels of software utilized in the supported sites.
• Maintain control of Windows/Intel software and hardware in order to ensure license compliance and asset management.
• Implement software and hardware upgrades to support IT initiatives and comply with established standards.
• Maintain infrastructure in order to decrease downtime and maintain quality.
• Provide 1st level server support for site servers to help ensure a robust server environment.
• Perform periodic site audits at various locations to assess standards compliance
