Job description, responsibilities and duties
IN A GIST
- The job role has a hybrid work mode: combination of WFA (work-from-anywhere) and WRT (work-requiring-travel)
- You will be a ‘hire out of Singapore’, hence, you may be required to travel to Asia
- You must be able to travel smoothly (especially within Schengen Area) to meet clients and work on tasks and deliverables that need to be physically accomplished
- We are looking for someone who has strong background and interest in the following: AI and Machine Learning, Robotics/Mechatronics, with background on computer programming and/or mechanical/electrical engineering
- You must at least have 1 and preferably 2 of 3 good background/experience in Mechatronics/Robotics (2 of 3 of the major fields); Image Processing ; Artificial Intelligence
YOU WILL BE INVOLVED in
• As a Project Engineer, you may be responsible for installing, setup, and qualify solutions at customers’ site.
• You may be tasked in R&D projects related to robotics/AI
• You may also be tasked to support the exchange of information with the involved, cooperating departments and the management.
• You can also track progress, verification, and validation processes.
• At times, you will prepare documentation for products, components, and their functional requirements in compliance with standards, regulations, and norms.
YOU BRING ALONG
• You hold a good educational background focused on mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or comparable course of study.
• You have relevant professional experience and can demonstrate the use of methods and standards in the development process.
• Your English language skills are business fluent.
• German language skill is highly desirable but not a must
• You enjoy working in international development teams.
• You are willing to travel and spend some time on activities with colleagues in other R&D locations.
• You enjoy traveling and dealing with people with different cultures
• You have the ability to work both individually and as a team, as well as flexibility, and organizational skills
