Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for highly motivated and technically skilled Junior Localization Manager to help us deliver our software applications for our international markets. You will be responsible for scheduling localization efforts, coordinating builds, QA and feedback implementation processes. You will be in daily touch with SW developers, QA representatives, localization vendors, distributors and internal localization team.

In ESET we create products for users all around the globe. As a Junior Localization Manager you will help us deliver these great products, so that customers have the best experience when using them daily.

Responsibilities include:
Manage translation and localization projects from the very beginning to end, developing project plans and localization workflows, managing time, budget, resources, and QA. Manage projects to localize software, websites, documentation and multimedia. Help others better understand the localization and internationalization process. Identify and document opportunities to improve processes and technologies.

- University degree
- Minimum 1 year experience managing localization projects
- Familiarity and passion for internationalization and localization
- Working knowledge in at least one translation memory software application
- Organized, detail-oriented, punctual, and good at working in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Project user
- Fluent in English


Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD. In 1992, together with their mutual friend Rudolf Hrubý, they formally established ESET.
