The Global Sales Strategy Manager is a trusted thought leader that works closely with the Senior Leadership team to drive:

• Sales Strategy: Work closely with Senior Leadership across functions to set our sales strategy, drive key business initiatives with solid business modeling, and decision analysis.
• Growth Opportunities: Developing business cases with business models and implementation plans.

Esential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Develop a deep understanding of ESET business operations, including internal processes, functional group strategies, and competitive context.
• Build strong peer-level relationships with ESET senior leadership across the business and technology division.
• Work with cross-functional teams to help guide initial implementation of strategic plans.
• Communicate findings to senior management and to the broader organization.
• Prepare budget and take responsibility for cost in Enterprise segment.
• Prepare and implement programs, plans and activities to maximize ESET sales in Enterprise segment in line with company strategy.
• Execute projects focused on maximizing direct and indirect sales in Enterprise segment.
• Implement strategy for Enterprise segment.
• Support offices and partners and branches during deployment of Enterprise segment strategy in their regions.
• Define and monitor KPIs for all implemented programs and plans, evaluate and report results and suggest new ways how to achieve maximum sales in Enterprise segment globally.

Personality requirements and skills

• Fluent English is a must, other languages are advantage.
• 5+ years of sales strategic work experience in IT business.
• Capacity to craft complex strategies with senior leaders but also know how to turn strategy into reality through world-class execution.
• Experience managing people in a collaborative, cross-functional project setting with or without direct reporting relationship.
• Strong relationship-building skills and experience working with senior executives.
• Good knowledge of IT security products.
• Creative and strategic thinking.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Flexibility & willingness to travel – Travel Time 10%.


Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD. In 1992, together with their mutual friend Rudolf Hrubý, they formally established ESET.

What started as the brainchild of a few friends has evolved into the most valuable international brand of any Slovak company. Today ESET’s NOD32 technology protects over 100 million users across the world.

This success did not come overnight. The company’s global success and growth was given a boost in 1998 with its first “VB100” award from the prestigious Virus Bulletin magazine. Since then, we’ve received this accolade more than 100 times.

Today, over 1,400 employees around the world drive the company’s success – a telling increase from 3 in 1987 and 135 in 2006. Almost 700 of them are based in Slovakia, the home of ESET headquarters.
