Business Consultant (Manager) for Cyber Security

In 2022, ESET has launched global Corporate Solutions Division, dedicated to support large companies and public institutions with bespoke cyber security solutions.
The Corporate Solution (CS) division is scaling up its cyber security professional services team that advise our corporate clients. We are looking for an experienced outcome-oriented consultant for a role of Business Consultant (Manager) for Cyber Security.

In this role, you will lead and delivery cyber security advisory projects for our clients, often first focusing on business value, rather than on technical delivery. You will work with security specialists and expert advisors to deliver high value services of the assignment, including the communicating and conveying the value to the customer.
You will be often customer facing, dealing with senior client management team. Your activities will embrace scoping a deal assignment, leading and driving the project delivery, management of client expectations, and ensuring the outcome quality and client satisfaction.
You will work with experts (internal as well as external) and lead other team members (cyber security consultants) in order to deliver the project.
Expect that you will work on versatile projects, across various industries and type of clients, reflecting expansion of CS division and professional services team.

Your responsibilities:

• Helping to structure and shape client business needs into consulting assignment (in cooperation with business development managers) and define scope of consulting service delivery
• Validating and qualifying complex client demands for cyber security consulting & advisory against strategic client value / capabilities & capacities of the team
• Leading the consulting / advisory project team and delivery to achieve the expected outcome (on time / quality / budget)
• Managing project team members (experts, security consultants) and driving the project delivery, actively working on the project delivery itself
• Overseeing the progress, outcome and quality of projects managed by more junior consultants / project managers
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks and challenges of the project
• Communication with senior client stakeholders to manage their expectations and assure smooth project acceptance
• Having broader client picture and participating on further client development
• People development via on-the job feedback
• Build up the deep knowledge about various cybersecurity expertise and specific services (expert teams)
• Perform other work on projects and tasks as directed by direct supervisor

Our requirements:

• 8+ years of business consulting experience
• Experienced in business consulting and delivery project for senior client management
• Experienced with end-to-end management of client projects
• Ability to work and drive the assignment independently
• Experience in structuring complex assignments
• Critical thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong “business sense”
• Can-do attitude
• Self-starter
• Good interpersonal skills, experience in communication with senior executives
• Eager to learn further and embrace dynamic of growing global division
• Fluent English
• Experience with team-management on project delivery
• Willing to learn and discover new areas of consulting in cyber security field
