Agile Testing Automation Engineer

Job description

• As a member of agile development team, cooperate with Software Engineers to verify newly developed product functionalities.
• Identify new defects in the product by means of automated and non-automated testing. Track defects in bug tracking tools. Verify the fixes of previously found defects.
• Prepare the environments needed for testing purposes together with System Engineers.
• Maintain and extend automated testing frameworks in cooperation with other Test Engineers and System Engineers.
• Create and maintain internal documentation of product functionalities from QA perspective.
• Take part in the team activities like daily stand-ups, planning meetings, reviews and retrospectives.

Basic requirements

• 2+ years of experience with software testing.
• Experience with administration of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Ansible and Robot framework or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of scripting in Bash and/or Python, PowerShell.
• Good at critical thinking.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and improve.
• Desire to improve things, even if they are “good enough”.
• Ability to understand technical documentation in English.
• Ability to write internal documentation in English.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification.
• Experience with virtualization platforms.
• Experience with Git versioning system.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, BitBucket.
