Experienced C++ Software Engineer

We are looking for experienced Linux/Windows C++ Software Engineer to join our agile development team. The team develops ESET Software Development Kit for large customers and functionalities shared across other ESET products.

Responsibilities:

• design and implement modular object-oriented software in C++
• design and implement C++ library code with C API
• participate in Code Reviews as a member of an agile team
• participate in code quality improvements, keeping in mind future code maintenance and performance
• work closely with other R&D teams
• cooperate with representatives from Sales, Product Management and Technical Support

Minimum qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field of study
• 5+ years of experience in software development using C++
• experience with development of application software on Linux and Windows operating systems
• experience with designing C interfaces
• expertise in object-oriented design and programming
• experience with developing multi-threaded and multi-process software
• deep understanding of algorithms and data structures
• advanced experience with Git versioning system
• good organizational and communication skills
• English language (written - intermediate, spoken - basic)

Nice to have skills:

• experience with developing software using public APIs
• experience with CMake and GNU Make based build systems
• experience with Agile Development
• previous experience with people and/or project coordination
