Imagine organising events to showcase our high-profile satellite launches?
Do you thrive in a busy international environment and enjoy the challenge of a demanding workload? We are looking for an exceptionally organised Communications and Launch Events Assistant to help us deliver various events, with a focus on large-scale VIP events accompanying the launch of our next-generation satellites. You may also be required to support the organisation of press, social media events and conferences either directly for EUMETSAT or as part of our contribution to the EU’s Copernicus Programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the space industry and play an important role in an organisation focused on monitoring the climate and weather from space.

This is a busy operational environment and you must have tact and diplomacy to deal with staff, suppliers and partners at all levels. You will bring your experience of event management, ideally with a specialism gained in the international, intergovernmental or scientific arena. You need to be a team player but must have the confidence to work independently against set targets. You should enjoy the challenge of dealing with multiple tasks, have a keen eye for detail and strong project management skills. Key to this role is the ability to communicate effectively in person and on paper. Computer literacy is essential.
You will work in a collaborative, international environment which offers you a competitive salary and outstanding benefits. You will work with people who are experts in their field. We value diversity and seek to recruit nationals from our Member States.
