Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are seeking a Junior Publications Coordinator to join our Publications team. No prior experience in academic publishing is required — full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities:

•   Supporting qualified researchers in active roles as Editors-in-Chief, Special Issue Editors, and other organisational roles

•   Supporting the publication scheduling of EAI journals

•   Communication with journal editors, authors, and reviewers

•   Communication with authors, editors, and the publisher's production team on conference proceedings

•   Coordination of content submitted by the scientific community

•   Article typesetting and metadata validation for journals and conference papers

•   Quality checks on manuscripts and conference proceedings

•   Reviewing and processing correction requests to meet publication requirements

The job is suitable for:

Graduate

Minimum education required

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

•   Excellent command of written English (daily working language with international authors and editors)

•   Strong attention to detail and accuracy

•   Ability to follow structured processes and meet deadlines

•   Confident general IT skills; ability to learn publishing platforms and editorial systems

•   Reliable, organised, and able to manage multiple parallel tasks

Advantages (not required)

•   Background in languages, translation, library/information science, or related fields

•   Any exposure to academic publishing, editing, or proofreading
