Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for you if you can:
- Identify and exploit attractive new partners and opportunities. Understand and effectively maneuver through the politics associated with large companies.
- Focus energy on high return and profitable opportunities. Take initiative to work independently with a vision of the end state in mind. Motivate self and others to achieve maximum results.
- Build effective relationships and collaborate with peers, managers and partners. Meet with key players (key importers, manufacturers, and/or advertising agencies as well as the key retailers).
- Deliver clear, concise sales presentations with enthusiasm and passion that demonstrates knowledge of the business product (preparing and presenting effective sales presentations to companies identified as potential customers).
- Research product categories in which licensing deals can be concluded (see what competitive licensed products are in the market and who the major players are.) Assess the value of the products sold at retail, together with who are the major purchasers. Identify who the major importers / manufacturers are for the products and present them the ideal deal.
- Obtain written business plans (ensuring that each company interested in obtaining a license, submits a full business plan identifying who they are and detailing their operation as well as how they would market and sell the licensed products).
- Finalize and close deals (following negotiations and after obtaining satisfactory business plans and accompanying minimum guarantees, finalizing the licensing deal).
- Skillfully interact with decision makers at the partners’ side and meet them time to time to tracke the clients performance (agree with them on marketing, sales, retail strategy).
