Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Java Developer creates and supports Web based Java applications, Web services and Web interfaces. His responsibilities include:
• Developing and enhancing product offerings in accordance with design and consistent with business objectives
• Maintaining and upgrading the data access and distribution technology platform as required
• Maintaining and upgrading the production environment as required,which may involve performing code changes to the existing technology platform as well as adding new functionality
• Developing test plans, test scripts, test cases and expected results to ensure that changes to the software infrastructure meet user requirements and functional specifications.
