Job description, responsibilities and duties

Our client – number one in providing B2B2C insurance and bank assurance solutions to partners in banking, retail, telco or utility sectors is looking for an experienced IT Solution Architect who is eager to work on a newly arising project – taking over online SW tools developed in Germany and implementing them in the Czech Republic and later on in other EU countries.

Main responsibility:
• Defines, documents, and maintains the solution architecture reference framework for specific project scope.
• Helps to define the roadmap to achieve the solution strategy.
• Addresses the needs and after qualifying them in terms of feasibility, cost and agility, translates them into an architectural target.
• Contributes in the field of application software (integration, deployment, software design) in coordination with functional expert.
• Participates on a cross-entity basis for enterprise, countries and acts as main authority for the solution architecture.

Information about the selection process

• Strong and proven experience on similar role 2 + years.
• MS technologies .NET.
• Front-end technologies and Java would be a plus
• Liferay Portal v6.2 and its implementation would be a plus
• Fluent English, Czech or Slovak would be advantageous but not necessary.
• Ideally understands the business concept in insurance business but not necessary.
• Willingness to travel 20 % of working time.
