Are you strong in C#.Net and would you like to lead a strategic system that is aimed to measure, manage and control potential losses that arise due to market behavior on the stock exchange?

If so, you would be in charge of developing an automated and scalable infrastructure which meets all regulatory requirements and is fully integrated with all core components of my client’s infrastructure.

My client, a globally renowned investment banking institution, whose IT center in Prague serves their internal clients mainly trading on NYC and London Stock Exchange, will cordially welcome their next leader of the Prague expertise group.

Your ultimate goal will be to implement technical solutions, unit test and contribute to design. You will work as a part of a local Prague team and liaise regularly with colleagues in other regions. The members of your team interact with the end users to understand their requirements and build solution pertaining to that. You will work in agile Scrum/Kanban environment.

Your Role:
Lead a local team of developers - set up the development process and ensure the team is organized in an efficient way.
Analysis, Estimating and Prioritisation of tasks.
Agile development using C#/.NET 4.5+.
Producing solid code with the unit test coverage.
Delivering solutions within a DevOps environment with a relentless focus on automation of testing and deployment via TeamCity, SpecFlow, Selenium and similar tools.
Building relationships and trust with other technology teams, risk management, and support.
Perform 3rd line support and analyze requirements to find the most appropriate technical solution

Your profile:
Essential Skills:
Excellent Knowledge of C# and .NET framework
Experience with unit testing/test driven development/continuous integration
Strong organizational skills and experience with Agile
Good understanding of source control and testing
Experience with server-side development
Conceptual knowledge of at least one DB technology (Oracle, SQL Server)

Desirable skills:
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture using REST
Experience with Hadoop, MongoDB and related technology
Experience of Agile development methodologies
Experience with multi-threaded systems
Previous experience in investment banking, or in the financial industry, or Knowledge of finance, investment banking, and/or trading
Self-starter, proactive, ready to take on the responsibility
Able to work with minimal guidance
Positive and proactive approach to problem-solving
Excellent written and spoken English
