Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Primary goal of the position would be responsibility for management of technical activities to ensure successful completion of the product implementation phases.

Main tasks:
• Providing technical support to a production assembly team, production engineering and technology team, supply chain and service department
• Providing technical advices on product servicing and repairs
• Supervising post launch design changes by customer request
• Assisting with technical problems investigation
• Assisting with customer complaints investigations or production quality problem investigations in close cooperation with quality department
• Supervising any mechanical design or new product development
• Maintaining a regular and appropriate level of communication between the CZ & Research and Development abroad
• Controlling, authorising and approving of specifications and drawings in line with company procedures
• Accurate reporting on regular basis

Personality requirements and skills

• University degree in mechanical engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in design within international manufacturing environment
• Experience in supervising technical team
• Native Czech or Slovak
• Fluent knowledge of English language
• Proficiency in using 3DCAD systems
• Very good communication and presentation skills
• High level of commitment, responsibility and reliability
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to create innovative solutions, willingness to learn new things
• Flexibility – willingness to travel
