Job description, responsibilities and duties
Our Client is an Irish-owned community pharmacy group with 3 stores, over 40 employees and strong ambitions to continue to grow. We are situated in the local communities we serve here in the south-west of Ireland.
Our customers are always our highest priority and our Pharmacists are key team members who build long lasting relationships with our customers and understand the importance of what we deliver to our customers and our local communities. As we continue to grow as a company, we would love to hear form Pharmacists, whether you are recently qualified or possess a few years of experience as a Pharmacist.
Key responsibilities of our Pharmacists:
Prepare, supply and supervise the provision of medicines to our customers always ensuring accurate and timely dispensing.
Counselling our customers on the effects, dosage and route of administration of their drug treatments, particularly those who require complex drug therapy and when required communicating effectively with general practitioners (GPs).
Ensuring medicinal products are stored appropriately and securely to ensure the highest quality and the health and safety of our customers and Pharmacy Staff.
Foster and maintain a positive and mutually beneficial working relationship with our Pharmacy Technicians supervising and quality checking their work as necessary.
Accurately use and maintain our computerised system for customer and inventory management.
Be the first responder to our customers on medication-related queries from within the Pharmacy always ensuring that our customer is treated with sensitivity and in a manner that always protects their dignity and respect.
