Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Be a team player within the IT Operations Control function and ensure the Group has proper business systems monitoring tools, business continuity plans, alignment to the Group’s and Bank’s IT policies and Information Security Controls;
- Assist in both Internal and External audit findings and ensure these are properly followed through with the respective unit team lead until resolution;
- Conduct regular reviews of system accesses;
- Ensure all business-critical systems and functions are adequately monitored and the relevant team is alerted in a timely manner in case of business disruption;
- Propose technical enhancements that would assist in the Group’s business growth;
- Participate in IT related projects as assigned by the Team Lead;
- Submit any reports and/or manage any projects and activities as may be directed and requested by the Team Lead;
- Report any issues within the unit to the Team Lead with recommended solutions;
- Ensure a high quality/standard of work and service throughout;
- Participate in the Change Management process and provide technical recommendations.

Personality requirements and skills

- Preferably a Bachelor degree in IT and/or a minimum of three years’ work experience in a similar environment (e.g. audit firm, financial institution, etc.);
- Have working experience of IT infrastructure monitoring solutions such as Zabbix, Solarwinds, PRTG, NewRelic;
- Previous experience in NOC department is considered as asset;
- Previous experience in script such as powershell, batch, vbscript is considered as asset.
- Able to produce technical documentation;
- Accurate and systematic in doing the job;
- Proficient in IT related international standards, policies, methods and techniques;
- Be able to work independently and under limited supervision;
