Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Coordination of Core project extended team
• Provide criteria for the proper design to meet the requirements of the manufacturing process
• Make recommendations that will improve the design of the product or process
• Ensure the product meets the cost and through-put requirements quoted
• Communicate changes in the design to affected team members
• Provide numerical data for suppliers to manufacture tooling, fixtures, and assembly aides
• Oversee mold concept, design, manufacture, and acceptance
• Oversee manufacture, assembly, and validation of prototype parts
