General Ledger Accountant with French

Our very important client operating in global banking and financial services with numerous offices in more than 50 countries all around the world is currently looking for a General Ledger Accountant with French to join their financial team in Prague in the Czech Republic.



Your new role

You will be responsible for checking the balance sheet and the P+L Accounts of the different branches, preparation of booking entries, month-end and year-end bookings, maintenance of accounts, schedules in the different banking systems (SAP, e.g.), treatment of various taxes, preparation of tax declaration, etc.



What you'll need to succeed

As the successful candidates you will hold a degree in Finance & Accounting, will have fluent French and 2+ years of experience in Accounting, good knowledge of the international standards (IFRS, US GAAP), complex accounting, excellent analytical skills and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices.
