AR/GL Accountant

Your new company
For our client - international company with SSC based in Prague – we are seeking experienced AR or GL Accountant with English language.

Your new role
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accounting activities in area of AR/Banking/GL according corporate and local standards. They will be in charge of performing all duties according closing schedule and according task list maintained for the department, cooperate in Quarter End/Year End closing and reporting as well as cooperate with Tax Accounting on accurate and correct records for tax purposes.
The successful candidate will also manage reconciliations of assigned accounts, revaluation of the accounts, IFRS reconciliations and Local Financial reports, Statistical reporting, more ad hoc reporting.

What you'll need to succeed
The right candidate has minimum 1 year experience in AR or GL, preferably also with covering banking agenda. At least theoretical accounting knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP is also a must. Experience working with SAP with be an advantage but is not necessary. We are seeking for candidate with excellent command of written and spoken English, University degree in Accounting/Finance, sense of urgency, accuracy, number oriented, good organization skills and ability to handle stressful situations. EU work permit needed.
