Náplň práce, pravomoci a zodpovědnosti
Supplier will assign to Purchaser 1 Fixed Term Employee (“FTE”), with the competencies set out in Annex 1, to act as a Health & Safety Manager and provide Health & Safety (“EHS”) advisory services (the “Services”). Supplier acknowledges and accepts that Purchaser operates in a fast-paced business environment, and the roles and responsibilities mentioned below should be used as a guide, and can be subject to change depending on Purchaser’s business needs, which will be communicated in writing to Supplier, from time to time. In the event that Supplier is required to replace the assigned FTE, Supplier shall seek Purchaser’s prior written approval before appointing a replacement.
Supplier will ensure that the assigned FTE works within Purchaser’s organization, using a Purchaser supplied email address (with a notion that the core team is working for Supplier, contracted by Purchaser) as well as Purchaser’s online tools; The assigned FTE shall act and perform in accordance with Purchaser’s leadership principles.
The assigned FTE’s responsibilities throughout the term of this Work Order are the following:
* Provide EHS guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable Amazon EHS Policies and legal requirements;
* Ensure the delivery of EHS performance in line with personal, functional goals and objectives, facilitating and/or arranging training programs on critical EHS issues.
* Analyze EHS metrics weekly and monthly to discover trends and rationalize the allocation of resources to areas where the EHS risk is highest.
* Develop and implement EHS programs to constantly improve EHS culture within Purchaser’s corporate offices.
* Conduct regular site visits to identify hazards, non-compliance and to improve controls.
* Implement solutions to eliminate exposure to the risks mentioned in 1.3 and prevent injury.
* Support the EHS Manager-MER & EE to deliver EHS strategic improvements.
* Carry out EHS risk assessment activities.
* Deliver EHS related training.
* Cooperate with local environmental authorities and H&S agencies.
* Investigate EHS related incidents, and support vendors in their risk assessment activities; complete internal and external incident reports.
* Establish internal assessment/audit processes aligned to Global and Regional strategic objectives.
* Preparing responses to insurers/lawyers in response to personal injury claims received.
* Ensure that site leadership and Associates are trained and knowledgeable on their EHS responsibilities.
* Arrange, facilitate and contribute to worker consultation and participation; e.g. EHS committee meetings.
* Contribute to reduce environmental impacts and maintain a sustainable approach for corporate office activities.
* Assist the EHS Manager-MER & EE in preparing the EHS budget for the region.
* Any change to Supplier's scope of work must be authorized in writing by both parties, and in the case of Purchaser, is binding only if signed by an authorized managing director of Purchaser
