Job description, responsibilities and duties

Job summary

Provide support to CCS Group in Prague by facilitating the monthly close process and supporting other various business projects. The role also includes Intercompany process and Fixed asset accounting.

Key responsibilities:

• Participate in month end closing activities;
• Maintaining General Ledger records for assigned financial companies;
• Prepare monthly and quarterly account reconciliations of all related GL accounts;
• Responsible for Fixed Asset accounting and related compliance controls;
• Manage Intercompany process;
• Close cooperation with other teams, assisting with the preparation of VAT declaration;
• Participate in special projects by supporting management and the project team in various tasks;
• Support internal and external audits by providing audit schedules, support and responses to inquiries;
• Ensures accuracy of all entries and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP, Compliance and SOX requirements;
• Engage in process improvement initiatives;
• Actively participate in training programs;
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule if required;
• Further tasks related to the knowledge capture period and the course of processes centralization;
• Other tasks related to the role required by your team leader and BSG management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in General Accounting preferably from an international company;
• Educational background in Accounting, Finance or Economics;
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills;
• Accurate, able to work to strict deadlines, and comfortable working in a quick turnaround environment;
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal) in English (French would be an advantage);
• Able to build effective partnerships with internal customers and work as part of a team;
• Very good command of MS Office, especially Excel;
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
