Senior Accountant with English

Key activities in stage I (first 6-9 months): in order to obtain good knowledge of processes setup
 Posting incoming invoices
 Booking of bank statements
 Responsible for matching bank statements with AP, AR and other entries in accounting books
 Entering payments into bank system
 Reconcile assigned accounts, communicate regarding open items and ensure that problems are solved in time

Key activities in stage II (after 6-9 months)
 Lead a small team of transactional accountants (2-3)
 Ensure that the client’s processes are properly documented with focus on internal controls
 Ensure that the team understands the processes and follows them accordingly
 Communicate with the client on various day to day topics
 Assist the client with improving the accounting processes, participate on Navision system upgrades or improvements
 Ensure that accounts reconciliations are performed
 Support other GL activities (such as closing process)
 Ensure deadlines are met
 Various ad hoc questions, tasks and projects within functional responsibility

Qualifications required:
 At least 4 years of working experience in accounting field
 Good understanding of accounting principles e.g. IFRS or local GAAP
 At least basic level of tax legislation (VAT, Income tax)
 English language – advanced level
 Russian or German language is an advantage
 MS Office skills – on a high level
 Communication skills
 Process oriented
 Reliable and trustworthy
