Cash Application Specialist is responsible for booking of incoming payments from 3rd parties as well as their matching with open invoices in AR books.

Cash Application Specialist is responsible for booking of incoming payments from 3rd parties as well as their matching with open invoices in AR books.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Primarily responsible for applying cash receipts to the correct invoice(s).
o Closing activities performance and active support of RTR and collection.
o Account reconciliation. Investigating on unapplied cash.
o Entering and applying inter-company netting.
o Auditing, reconciling and correcting rejected payments.
o Processing credit card receipts and cheques.
o Dealing with Audit as per requirements.
o Regular customer contacts (phone, email) related payment specification.
o Frequent cooperation with Collections, credit management team and internal customers.
o Other duties related to cash apps daily operations or required by TL.
THE CANDIDATE
o 1-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, cash application.
o Good interpersonal skills and the ability to cooperate effectively with all levels of employees and internal/external customers.
o Self motivated individual with strong attention to detail.
o Independent and proactive approach.
o Willingness to learn and go extra mile.
o Experience with AR system such as SAP, JDE, Oracle, Axapta as an advantage.
o Good knowledge of Excel.
o English communicative level + advanced to native French/German language.
