Cloud Developer/Designer

ROLE OVERVIEW

The financial industry has changed beyond recognition over the last few years and continues to evolve at a rapid pace: an aging population, a switch from face-to-face to online financial consultations, digital advancement that allows consumers to tailor online products to their individual needs, and of course stricter regulation. This has transformed business into an increasingly digital and data-driven customer oriented company. A central part of this transformation is the delivery of fit-for-purpose data within and outside of our network. We are looking for a Cloud Developer for the responsible team.
As an experienced Cloud Developer/Designer your love for technology will have an important impact on the development of solutions needed for the development of the future of client's business. As a member of the various Cloud Solutions devops teams you´ll be taking part in all elements of the software development life cycles (design, development, integration, operations, support). You´ll be having an important role in designing, developing and testing of code, solving more complex technical issues. You are instrumental in testing the boundaries of current solutions to find/create innovative ways to support the customer business lines. You´ll be working with colleagues within clients project, but also from other regions to achieve these goals.

PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Energetic and eager to contribute to our data driven and customer oriented strategy
• Ambition to become a leader in BI development
• Detailed knowledge of cloud technology (preferably AWS) and cloud native design
• Ambition and ability to pick up usage of current and new AWS tools
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices
• Experience with concepts like ETL and Datawarehousing (DWH)
• Extensive experience with Python or a similar scripting language
• Experience in cross-country working and multi-country implementations
• Creative, problem solving attitude
• Agile mind-set
• Customer centricity attitude
• Willing to take ownership and not afraid of accountability
• Acting as one from a team and an customer perspective
• Eager to search for and familiarize with new technological opportunities
• Aware of data sensitivity and pro-active mind-set in mitigating associated risks
• Fluency in English, both oral and in writing
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar
