Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Provide high quality technical advice to the board and management of the company
Directly liaise with regulators, stakeholders and all other parties as required by the company
Plan and execute exploration programs in Austria, in particular across the gold portfolio
Liaise directly with consultants and contractors, obtaining quotes, monitoring work performed and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements (industry best practice)
Ensure books, records, reports are all written to a professional standard, and submitted to the regulatory authorities as legally required (inclusive of generating required reports), across the portfolio
Responsible for the oversight of high quality geoscientific research and study on key exploration areas of the Company within Austria
Support the Company’s CSR policies across its projects, utilizing in country knowledge and experience as well as in any new program undertaken
Provide training and assistance to team members as needed
Support the General Exploration Manager as required
MUST HAVE JORC/43-101 EXPERIENCE and have worked for international companies

Must have some level of language skills, drivers licence, preparedness to travel to remote sites and be available to work in Bratislava.
Applicants are expected to have experience with active exploration programs for international companies and specifically under the JORC/43-101 codes.
Experience with resource appraisal desirable, particularly oversight of data gathering which has gone into resource modelling under the stated international geoscientific codes.
