Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Reviews the MRP report daily and visually inspects inventory for requirements. Places order and expedites when necessary. Process order confirmations, track and urge delivery dates. Clarify invoice deviations.
- Develops relationships with suppliers through managing accounts, visiting suppliers, understanding commodities/services. Responsible for selecting and negotiating with suppliers.
- Responsible for selecting and negotiating with suppliers of capital expenses and indirect/MRO.
