Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Process development and assembly sequencing (process flow chart) for new programs
• Perform Hanon Quotation Form (HQF) for new Projects
• Plan, order and installation of new assembly equipment, production layout, headcount planning and line balancing
• Use industrial engineering methods to determine the assembly time, headcount
• Use global manufacturing best business practices (BBP) data as reference for performance indicators and departmental objectives
• Support feasibility analysis (DFA/DFM) and execute/support PFMEA`s on new products
• Plant and process layout for new products and plant launches (AutoCAD)
• Perform cost analysis of product and process alternatives (investments and assembly time)
• Capacity planning
• CO2 footprint calculation and tracking
• Work with PD-Teams to develop product
• Improvement strategies: actively support activities for manufacturing footprint analysis, continuous improvement of new and/or ongoing manufacturing process and lean manufacturing implementation
• GME deliverables as requested on project timeline
• Leading of project package handover to Plant ME
• Support manufacturing CI implementation in post launch programs

Our client is a TIER 1 supplier in automotive industry based in commuting distance to Prague. We are currently looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer who would be a part of our Global team focused on new projects.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Czech - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• B.S. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial) or similar
• 1-3 years minimum experience in a Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering Capacity
• OEM or Tier One automotive work experience
• High volume automotive manufacturing engineer-in work experience
• Project management experiences in international environment
• Budgeting and cost control
• Strong computer and manufacturing skills
• Experience in Stamping, Brazing, Assembly equipment
• Experience in Process and Equipment development
• Plant Layout drawing-up using AUTOCAD
• Equipment selection, purchasing and installation
• English - Advanced / local language: Czech - Advanced
