Job description, responsibilities and duties

Develops a volume and values demand forecast at multiple levels of aggregation
Translate sales forecasts into detailed engineering, manufacturing and installation labor plans.
Partners with Supply Planners to identify and reconcile supply gaps and rough cut capacity planning for both short and long term time horizons, providing an early warning system for issues identification, as well as demand spikes.
Provide pro-active gap analysis of demand, financial, supply plans.
Participates in all stages of the monthly SIOP process.
Provide relentless, professional 3-step feedback loop on monthly basis (demand plan vs. incoming order rates vs. plant shipments.)
Planning team for demand plan accuracy, sales forecast accuracy, and/or supply plan accuracy.
Provide input to the supply planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
Work closely with the factory and supply management team to ensure Demand and Supply Plans are aligned to meet business goals.
Continuous improvement on the results of SIOP Scorecards and metrics.
Assist in driving continuous improvement to all elements of the SIOP process.
Measures achievements and links increased employee performance based on available training; measures results over time, and identifies gaps to training plans based on program deliverables and employee performance.
Provides Developmental and Behavioral guidance for employees; works to identify gaps
