VMware administrator – 2nd and 3rd level – Brno

System Administrators are the gatekeepers to the many systems that run our company and our clients. As a System Admin with IBM, you will have the opportunity to provide high-value IT services and leverage our leading-edge technology portfolio in our global network. Your work has a direct impact on the day-to-day productivity of our business by ensuring integrity of and access to our most important resource: data


Your day to day activities will include:

• Setup and maintenance of systems across VMware infrastructure with High Availability solutions
• Resolving incidents, execute infrastructure changes, requests, security and project management processes
• Diagnosing issues with clients' hardware and diagnose/resolve VMware/server-related component issues
• Supporting on Critical Cases and Escalations coming from Technical Leaders
• Proactive maintenance and recommendations
• Cooperation with Architects, Consultants and Customer representatives as a VMware Subject Matter Expert

Required Professional and Technical Expertise :

• VMware vSphere Environments including HA & DRS
• VMware NSX
• VMware vSAN
• Automation skills through scripting tools/commands (e.g PowerCLI, PowerNSX)
• Troubleshooting and configuring VMware vCenters (VCSA or vCenter Windows),
VMware vSphere 6 and above
• Windows or Linux Operating System
• Troubleshooting vSphere Networking & vSphere Storage issues
• Writing technical and operational management documentation
• English: Intermediate
