Job description, responsibilities and duties

Insignia is currently hiring a skilled IT professional who will be ultimately responsible for the company’s offices day to day IT operations, keeping it up and running and proposing improvements where necessary. A-Levels in IT or a university degree in an IT related field are highly desirable.

• 1st and 2nd line of support in the company’s offices
• Managing all local and server-side hardware and software related to the Office (experience working with both Windows and Mac platforms required)
• Hardware inventory and purchases.
• Software setup, updates, test, problem-solving.
• Communicating with local and global suppliers and vendors
• Server equipment, access control, telephony, printers, videoconference, mobiles, local backups and other systems support
• Local network equipment and cabling, Wi-Fi and Firewalls
• Monitoring of alerts, backups, logs
• Mobile devices support including IOS and Android platforms. Mobile device management
• Instruct users to use equipment, software and services according corporate policies and rules

• Proven background in IT Helpdesk management including;
• Windows PC administration
• MacOS PC administration
• Network equipment administration
• Wi-Fi networking
• MS Office support
• Application software support
• Active Directory management
• Windows server administration
• Videoconferencing
• IP-telephony


Basic Knowledge of:
• MacOS, Windows, iOS, Android
• MS Office, Adobe software, etc.
• Remote Support systems (ScreenConnect)
• Switches/Routers/Wi-Fi, etc. (Cisco, HP)
• IP telephony (Cisco)
• Videoconferencing (LifeSize)
• Antivirus/DLP/Security systems (Sophos, BitLocker, etc.)
• Backup (Veeam, TimeMachine, etc)
