R&D Senior Electrical Engineer (international Group level)

As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be based in Western Slovakia (production unit and R&D Centre). You will report directly to the Group´s Division Director for Research & Development, who is located in Switzerland. As the Group´s Senior R&D Specialist (Electricity/High Voltage) you will be collaborating on various local, but mainly on international projects.

Your tasks will also include:
• Participation in & leading of joint R&D-projects (in collaboration with customers)
• Acting as the Project Manager for new product introduction
• Leading local and international projects delegated by theGroup´s R&D Division Director
• Supporting Engineering, Quality, Process-Engineering and Sales as a Senior Specialist (where the Senior R&D Engineer´s specific competences are applicable).
• Following-up and analysing international high voltage standards (IEC, ANSI)
• Following-up and participating - Cigré working groups.
• Case-by case participation in Standardisation working groups and committee
meetings
• Establishing the Technology road-map
• Designing the Technology Survey of products
• Follow-ups of patent filing
• Writing (or participation in creation) of technical articles, publications and white papers
• Creating network with selected scientific and technology partners
