Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

You will:
- Serve as the key quality contact for suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments.
- Manage the end-to-end claims process, including financial settlement with suppliers.
- Assess inbound/outbound quality issues (e.g., transport damage, packaging defects) and decide on corrective actions (like Q-Gate sorting, etc.)
- Drive problem resolution by evaluating supplier 8D reports and verifying the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Initiate and conduct quality audits
- Developing and standardizing quality processes, conducting audits, and leading problem-solving meetings with service providers.

Before launch, you will take part in several months of training in Germany to gain hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the processes behind BMW’s global success.
Upon return, you will be part of the core team responsible for launching and developing the Ostrava site in close cooperation with the headquarters.

Personality requirements and skills

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals with:
- A university degree (technical or economic field) or comparable professional experience.
- Experience in a quality management role, preferably in logistics or the supply chain.
- Strong negotiation and assertiveness skills for managing supplier and partner relations.
- Proficiency with quality tools (8D, FMEA, Ishikawa).
- Fluency in English is required; German is an advantage.
- Experience with SAP and quality systems.
- Willingness to travel.
