Job description, responsibilities and duties
You will shape how people, materials, and processes work together in a high-tech logistics environment and will be a driving force behind continuous process improvement, combining analytical precision with a deep understanding of industrial engineering principles.
- Design and improve workflows for efficiency, safety, and ergonomics in the logistics and distribution center.
- Create and maintain detailed work instructions using MTM (Methods-Time Measurment) or REFA methodology.
- Lead time studies and define time standards to support capacity and personnel planning.
- Drive process improvement projects and implement best practices across operations.
- Support preparation and evaluation of technical tender documentation.
- Collaborate internationally and participate in training and coordination in Germany.
Before launch, you will take part in several months of training in Germany to gain hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the processes behind BMW’s global success.
Upon return, you will be part of the core team responsible for launching and developing the Ostrava site in close cooperation with the headquarters.

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering — or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics or a similar role, ideally within an automated production setting.
- MTM or REFA certification (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, creative mindset with a drive for improvement.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to Germany for onboarding and knowledge transfer.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics or a similar role, ideally within an automated production setting.
