We are looking for a

Key Account Manager

You will join our Sales Team in Prague as Key Account Manager. This position is responsible primarily for expanding existing accounts (water utilities and municipalities) in Czech Republic and Slovakia but will also occasionally pursue new account development.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Call on regular and map prospective customers to identify opportunities consistent with Itron's current set of solutions and strategic direction.
• Introduce innovative solutions to the Water utilities and Smart City initiatives using Consultative Selling skills.
• Display or demonstrate how Itron’s solution will help Utilities and Cities to save valuable resources and increase benefits.
• Research and compile lists of potential opportunities from prospective customers.
• Prepare bids offers for Key Accounts working in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and keep expense accounts.
• Work internally with Product Management and Marketing teams to keep account activities and literature up to date.
• Coordinate Itron activity within the customer organization including training, implementation and service and support.
• Attend trade shows, actively looking for additional or new sales opportunities.
• Follow-up on orders and coordination between organizations to ensure orders are filled and world-class customer service is provided.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Preferred Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Economics or equivalent background.
• Ability and willingness to learn in a multi-disciplinary international organization.
• 3 years of relevant experience in B2B sales.
• Excellent communicational skills, including verbal and technical writing in English and Czech.
• Customer oriented attitude and business-oriented mindset.
• Multinational environment experience.
• Driving license, category B is a must.
